Playtime

Rama made a break for it yesterday when I came home... luckily it is a gated apartment building, so he didn't get very far. He's very curious about the outdoors now, though, so he's made his first attempt at using the cat tree, to look out the window.

They are really into toys at this age, and really like anything with feathers, tails, and with bells. They also really like backpacks, paper bags, receipts, shoes, socks, and blankets. Hopefully there's enough to distract them so they give up any further plans of escape...

Beowulf ran out into the hallway once because I was slow to close the front door behind me. I'm always worried he'll dash out again, but I think he learned a lesson because the door actually hit him as he ran out.

Cats are very curious and they like to go where they are "forbidden." Keep a close eye when entering and exiting and hopefully you'll keep one step ahead of them.

Jessica, your cats are simply lovely. My two sweet strays, already four years old, are named for my grandmothers, Rose and Lily.
